General Construction
Solid fiberglass hull, hand laminated, using Knytex knitted and stitched biaxial fiberglass fabrics in conjunction with mat and woven roving with 100% Vinylester resin. Kevlar reinforcement in hull layup. Isopthalic gelcoat applied on all exterior fiberglass surfaces.
A matrix of longitudinal and transverse foam cored stringers in the lower hull and hull sides provides maximum stiffness. Water tight bulkhead forward, aft of chain locker.
Internal lead ballast glassed into modified fin keel with choice of drafts. Balanced skeg rudder, with internal stainless steel rudder post and integral stainless steel reinforcement.
The deck structure is a composite construction using closed cell foam coring. All deck hardware areas are reinforced using high density closed cell foam. All deck hardware is through bolted using stainless steel backing plates.
Passport Yachts are built to CE Boat Category ‘A-Ocean' and ABYC.
Passport Yachts offers a (10) ten year non-transferable limited warranty against blistering below the water line. ( Terms and conditions apply ).
Passport Yachts extends to the buyer a limited (1) one year warranty against poor workmanship and gear failure, this covers all joinery work and the general construction.
